Gellert Spa is one of the most famous thermal spa baths in Europe, and one of the leading natural hot spring spa baths in Budapest, Hungary.

From March 1st, 2022 the baths can be visited without a Covid passport or vaccination proof.

Masks are recommended to be worn in the baths.

Gellert Spa is open Monday – Sunday 9.00 to 19.00. As per the Hungarian government regulations, Covid passports are no longer required.

Please kindly note that during the months of Covid pandemic, official regulations are subject to change (following government decrees), so please do check the status of the bath requirements before your visit.

  5. Hello,I just arrive with my family.
    We’re vaccinated. Just my 2 kinds not (8 and 11 year old)
    They have a PCR test from yesterday afternoon and it’s good for them.
    Can we come today at 17pm ?

    • Hello David,
      kids can enter with a vaccinated adult.
      The thermal baths were and are still aimed at adult bathers, therefore there are no kid’s pools or activities.
      Most of the outdoor and indoor pools and baths are more than 33 degrees Celsius, which means increased stress for the cardiovascular system of kids, whose body is not fully developed yet to be able to cope with the heat of the bath waters, therefore saunas and hot pools are not healthy for children under 14.
