I was wondering if October 31st counts as a weekday or weekend, as I read that days around public holidays can be considered holidays, and the price option for both weekday and weekend comes up when I look at tickets.

Oct 31 is not a holiday in Hungary. Nov 1 will be a national holiday (Friday) with weekend rates.

The confirmation email of your thermal bath products (which is basically the same as your ticket) was already automatically sent to you, to the email address you have provided in the booking form: please make sure to check the spam folder in case it ended up there. At any rate, we have manually resent it again. Please let us know if there should be any further inconvenience, or if you wish to get the ticket sent to a different email address too.

Check-in: 9 am – 6 pm at the Help Desk at the main entrance, opposite the Budapest Circus building. Please do NOT join the queues at the cashiers as they will redirect you to the Help Desk.

On the paying page it says Credit card OR Paypal, when I enter credit card info it still wants me to provide my Paypal info?

While we normally would recommend online bookings to secure your appointments or entries, during the Winter Festive Season (Christmas and New Year – Dec 24 – Jan 7) the city attracts half a million extra tourists, which makes online fast track tickets to Szechenyi Baths and Gellert Spa simply non-fast track, and ticket holders are often held back in the – otherwise peaceful and expectant – crowds gathering around the entrances. Hence the managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during the festive days, with the notable exception of the pre-NYE night party tickets, which will be bookable for December 30 as usual in Szechenyi Baths. Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we expect long queues due to the increased demand, even long lines in the cold.
