Help Desk in Gellert Spa – Priority Check in

Gellert Spa Help Desk

Enjoy a thermal relaxation in Gellert Spa with improved services such as expedited QR code check in and advance bookings of spa treatments with a special check-in at the QR code readers, dedicated to all of our online customers, exclusively.

Opening Hours

9 am – 7 pm every day of the week (except holidays)

Check in at Gellert Spa

The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

Book your massage now and secure your preferred massage hours on the following page: Massages in Gellert Spa

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Opening hours:

9 am – 7 pm every day.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

    • hello we are 8 people that we would like to visit gellert in 24th of October is anything that we need to know we have to make bookings? Thank you

  3. Dear all, I hope you are well
We are planning to visit Budapest and Gellert Spa at the end of October. We are citizens in the European Union and have reiceived both vaccinations, and have the EU green pass. Can we visit Gellert? It is not clear to me if it is open for us as well, or only to people who have the Hungarian Immunity card.

    Many thanks!

    • Dear Sam,
Thank you for contacting us about the spa baths entry requirements.
Since the Hungarian vaccination level has reached the target number 5.5 million, from July 3rd 2021 Covid passports will no longer be needed to enter the thermal baths (wearing masks and presenting immunity cards are no longer required in most of the places of attractions in Budapest). Please check the general travel regulations to Hungary before making a reservation.
      Enjoy your visit to Budapest!

  4. Dear Gellert Spa!
Me and my wife are going to visit your Spa complex on my wife’s birthday on October 18.
I would like to make a surprise for her. So please tell me which packages I can book for us on that date? Mainly interested is Private Bath and massage. But we also would like to see public baths as they looks amazing! What can you advice for us?
PS: Do you have any ant-covid requirements for foreign visitors?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

    • Dear Ilya,

      Thank you for contacting us.

It is certainly a great wellness experience to try the public thermal baths Budapest is famous for, including Szechenyi Baths with its amazing architecture, similarly to Gellert Spa where the public baths have Art Nouveau mosaic walls and ornaments.
The entry to the private bath does not include entry to the public baths. If you wish to book it in advance, kindly contact: info.gellert@budapestspas.hu.

    • Hello Yasmin,
Thank you for your inquiry about the Spa Baths massage services.
Massage treatments are no longer available for pre-booking. Reservation is on the spot, on a first come first served basis, subject to availability.
Kindly note that massages are very popular and always get booked up on the spot (i.e. not guaranteed at the time of your arrival).
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
