These are the bath ticket prices in Gellert Spa & Baths, Budapest valid from Jan 05 2025.
Please note that prices may increase throughout the year. Cashiers close 1 hour before the spa closing time. Pools must be emptied minimum 30 min before closing time. Massage appointments require guests to be at the bath 1 hour before the appointment begins to arrange check in, get changed and locate the massage room.
Gellert Bath tickets with lockers vs. bath tickets with cabins are both available. The online QR Code ticket is to be redeemed for the chip equipped wrist band that locks the locker or cabin door (cabin is the changing cubicle like a dressing room in a clothes shop). Please note that towels, robes are not included in the tickets unless the package specifically mentions it.

In addition to the bath prices above, you can buy combined Gellert Baths tickets with massage packages.
As massage and spa treatments are for bath guests only, there are packages of bath tickets and massage therapies, with a Private Cabin and a Private Entrance at our Help Desk in the Main Hall in Gellert Spa.
Private cabin means that you will have your own private changing room to get changed and keep your bath gear, and other items. Private entrance means that you can skip the line at the Cashiers, and have fast access into the thermal baths at our Help Desk, where you will be welcome by friendly staff speaking very good English. The prices of package deals of massage therapies, including the bath tickets in Gellert Baths.
Online prices include transactions fees.
Please note that warm thermal waters in Gellert Spa Baths are recommended for children over 14. For a more toddler/kid-friendly experience, we suggest visiting one of the following Budapest lidos or pools: Palatinus Furdo (summer time open air lido on Margaret Island) or Csillaghegyi Furdo (summer time open air lido on the Buda side, by the Danube) where thermal baths and children pools are both available.
The prices above are exclusive to Gellert Spa, and do not apply to the prices of all thermal baths in Budapest.

The Gellért Spa is scheduled to close for renovations starting from 1 October 2025, with 30 September 2025 currently expected to be the last available day for visits this year, according to the current schedule and communication of the bath management.
Oct 1 onwards: unfortunately, it will not be possible to book massages or spa services at Gellért Spa after the renovation works begin. Planned completion: 2028.
If you are planning a visit to Budapest and would still like to enjoy a spa and massage experience, we would be happy to recommend alternative thermal baths such as Szechenyi Bath, Rudas Bath or Lukacs Baths, offering similar services, including fast-track entry and massage options.

I would like to know what packages are available. I would like to go on Thursday September 25, and book a couples massage, get access to the pools and saunas, etc. I wanted to book the package with the sparkling wine and cruise, but it says it’s no longer available?

Unfortunately, Gellért Spa currently does not offer simultaneous / couple massages. Having said that, 20 and 45-minute individual massage treatments are available for reservation, which can be booked either online or on the day of your visit (subject to availability), especially if you arrive early, around 9 am.

We recommend arriving early in the morning, possibly before 10 am, if you plan to buy tickets at the venue, to avoid long queues and maximise your chances of entry and a more relaxed atmosphere.

In some European spas, certain sauna or steam room areas require guests to be nude or prohibit the use of swimsuits for hygiene or cultural reasons. I wanted to check in advance what your policy is regarding clothing or nudity in your sauna and steam areas.
Do guests wear swimsuits in all areas, or are there specific zones where nudity is required or expected?

At Gellert Spa, swimsuits are kindly required in all areas, including the sauna and steam rooms. Nudity isn’t allowed anywhere in the spa.
