Entrance to any spas, like Gellert Spa, is affordable, and is definitely worth it, even though some people may find the prices a bit high.
Especially old travel books and online forums, outdated travel guides on Budapest may confuse some tourists with regards to entry tickets, stays and refunds.
Should you buy a full day ticket to Gellert Spa, but you only spend a couple of hours there, it does not entitle you to any refund.
Full day ticket allows you to stay for any hours during any time of the day, as long as the facilities are open (6 am – 8 pm every day, unless if there is a National Holiday or any special event). In our opinion, buying a full price ticket is worth the money, as all the baths, indoor and outdoor pools, the massage therapies, etc. are really fun and relaxing, providing an absolutely relaxing morning, daytime or evening program for anyone.
