Help Desk in Gellert Spa – Priority Check in

Gellert Spa Help Desk

Enjoy a thermal relaxation in Gellert Spa with improved services such as expedited QR code check in and advance bookings of spa treatments with a special check-in at the QR code readers, dedicated to all of our online customers, exclusively.

Opening Hours

9 am – 7 pm every day of the week (except holidays)

Check in at Gellert Spa

The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

Book your massage now and secure your preferred massage hours on the following page: Massages in Gellert Spa

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Opening hours:

9 am – 7 pm every day.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

  1. Hi, can I just turn up on day or do I have to purchase thermal entry online
    Thanks

    • Hello Sharon, you can buy entries upon arrival at Gellert Spa! Enjoy your holiday in Budapest!

  2. hi there – we are coming on thursday 28th and we would like to book two massages – `harmony or vip. How can we complete the booking please?

    • Dear Charles,
Thank you for your inquiry about the Spa Baths massage services.
Massage treatments are no longer available for pre-booking. Reservation is on the spot, on a first come first served basis, subject to availability.
Kindly note that massages are very popular and always get booked up on the spot (i.e. not guaranteed at the time of your arrival).
We recommend the arrival around 9am.

  3. Hello,
Is the outdoor pool open for spring yet or is it still closed?

    BW

    • Hello Harriet,
The outdoor area will be opened on Apr 30, however, the wave pool is not confirmed.
Usually, it is opened with the outdoor section.
Hope we can welcome you at Gellert Spa!

  4. Are Covid passports still required for massage treatments?

    • Hello Rachel,
Thank you for checking the requirements before visiting. Gellert Baths can be visited without vaccination proofs since March 1, 2022.
Have a wonderful holiday in Budapest!

  5. Hi,

We are planning to visit Budapest next October/November. Will the spa still closed?.

    Thank you very much,
    Jordi

    • Hello Jordy,
Gellert Baths will be closed for renovations from June 1 and unfortunately the time of the re-opening is not confirmed yet.
We recommend you check our website a week before arrival for updates.
Please kindly consider visiting Szechenyi Baths for a thermal relaxation in the meantime:

  6. Hi – wondering when renovations are going to start. I will be in Budapest from August 4-9th and would love to visit the bath. Should I just keep checking the website to make sure it’s still open as the days get closer. Thxs, Sam

    • Hello Sam,
the exact date is not confirmed yet, but it has been postponed to the fall /autumn season, so you can visit Gellert Spa in August.
