Check in at Gellert Spa

The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).

After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Opening hours:

9 am – 7 pm every day.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

  1. Hello

My name is Tyler Fernandez and I made a purchase for the Gellert Baths on Saturday March 18th. I received an email with my receipt of payment, but not confirmation with my bath e-ticket or information on the baths. My email is slpennch@syr.edu if you can please confirm my e-ticket and send the information needed. Thank you.

  2. Hi
I am trying to book Royal Thermal Massage for 2 guests for 50mins for tomorrow, but when I select the ticket type, the price doesn’t match what it says on the website. I don’t know whether I can come tomorrow morning to book?

    Thank you

    • Dear Nadia,
have you tried to book this package only: 2*Thermal Massage 50m & 2 GS Ticket & 2 Cabins €130? Unfurtanetely there is no guarantee that you will be ablo to book a same day massage on the spot, as places are highly limited and the timetable of the massages fills up quickly. To make a valid booking please follow this link:

  4. Hi,

I have booked via trip advisor to visit the baths on 20/2/17 and have a 20 minute aromatherapy massage booked, but there wasn’t an option to select a time.

Do I need to do this in advance of my arrival?

    Kind regards

    • Hi Christopher,
Our partner Hungaria Koncert manages tripadvisor reservations. They will be in touch with you soon. Or you can contact them regarding your time preferences.
Have a fantastic time in Budapest!

  5. hello there
i would want to visit the gellert bath at 14 march 2017 , with my wife …
actually we r planning to choose a Private Bath for 2 Guests for 3h , we want this early in the morning like from 9 or 10 am , then at about 1 pm we want to have a 70 minutes massage ….
the process of electronic booking contains choosing the time for massage only , and does not contain time interval for private bath spaces….is that because there are many private bath units??? what do i mean how can i secure the time slot for the private bath area ???
ur help is so much appreciated
    amr

    • Hello Amr,
the package of the Private Bath gives access to the secluded area of the private bath only, meaning you can go to the private bath room, but not the big public area with a dozen pools, steam rooms, and saunas.
The private bath sessions are highly limited, so the advanced booking is strongly recommended.
You can add your private bath hour preference to your booking, you can use the massage/private bath hour field.
      Booking: http://gellertspa.com/gellert-spa-private-bath

If you do not wish to visit the public baths you can purchase the private bath and a 50 or 70 min massage for ticket holders on top of that:
      Booking only the massages: http://gellertspa.com/gellert-spa-massage-reservation-for-bath-ticket-holders
Please note that for the 20 min massages, Gellert Spa Entry ticket has to be presented.

If you would like to visit the public baths too, there is an option to book the Private Bath and a 20- 50- or 70-minute massage with entry tickets in the same form, please follow this link to make a valid booking:http://gellertspa.com/combined-massage-ticket-booking-gellert-spa

Hope we can welcome you at Gellert Spa Baths!

  6. Hello there

We are two adults coming to Budapest in Easter, and would like to visit your spa.
We’re unsure wether it’s a good idea to pre-book tickets for entrance and massage – because it’s Easter and maybe a lot of tourist visit Budapest during that time of the year. We would also like to try the red wine bath – do we need to pre-book these things before coming in April and if that’s the case – how do we do it?

Please send reply to email, since i’m not sure if I find this website again (not on my own computer)
