The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

yes, if you wish to have 1 single and 1 double massage you can make the bookings in 2 transactions.
If you prefer to have 3x single massages you can book it in 1 reservation, together.

I`m coming to Budapest this weekend with my boyfriend, and Im really looking forward to it 🙂
We are staying for some time and would like to have a massage one of the days.
I find it hard to choose between Gellert spa and Szechenyi Baths.. (So…we`ll probably go both places).
Are there really any big differences? 🙂
At this time of year, is it possible to take baths outside at both places, or is it too cold?
And do I have to print massage & booking tickets, or is it possible to show this on the cell phone?

both baths are wonderful, Gellert Baths is a bit smaller than Szechenyi.
Yes, you can enjoy the outdoor hot pools. I recommend you bring or rent bathrobes if you are using the outdoor pool area, it is cold when you get out from the hot water.
After the booking, you will receive a confirmation email and you can show that on your phone upon arrival.

I was booking two separate tickets because only m husband wants a massage. For my ticket, it took me to the Paypal site and I paid. For my husband’s massage+ticket, it never offers the option to pay after I hit submit. In trying again, I may have attempted to make 3 reservations for him at the same time and date.
I successfully managed to pay for my husband’s massage+ticket using a different email address. Hopefully the 5 attempts with my original email address for his massage will be ignored since I wasnt able to pay.
