Check in at Gellert Spa
The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).
After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.
Opening hours:
9 am – 7 pm every day.
Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

Hi
I am coming over at the end of January for a hen do and think the spa would be a lovely thing to do. Please could you explain the difference between the locker and the cabin. I am expecting there to be about 14 of us so am trying to work out the best solution. Thank you
Hi Corinne,
Thank you for your question.
The similar thing about lockers and cabins that both are are designed to store your personal items, however, lockers are smallish boxes (with a lock on them like the ones at railway stations). The size of a locker is 120x30x65 cm. Cabins are like smaller changing rooms with storage facilities. In a cabin, changing privately AND storing your belongings in a safe place can happen at the same time and in the same place.
Cabins are appropriate for one person, so if you are a couple, part of a small group or a family it might seem a bit tight, but you can take turns in getting changed.
Hope the above helps you with your planning. You can follow this link for the booking: http://gellertspa.com/gellert-spa-thermal-bath-online-tickets
Have a lovely bath experience with your group in Budapest!
Hi,

Thanks for your help.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter because I want to ask you a question.
Me and my husband want to come at your spa center and take the aroma therapy. I am questening, if aroma therapy would be good for me, because I am pregnat almost 3 weeks. If aroma therapy is not good at time when I am pregnat, as I heard, then please let me know what would you recommend to me and to my husband.
Thank you for your respond,
yours faithfully,
Dear Tjasa,
Thank you for your comment. We are sorry but we do not offer massage treatments for expectant mothers. Unfortunately, it is not recommended for ladies who are expecting a child. Pregnant ladies are kindly asked to consult with their doctor /OBGYN if they can bathe in the thermal waters as each pregnancy is different.
Please find more information about advice for expectant mums in the baths here:

Hi!
We are coming to Budapest for New Years Eve, from 29 Dec to 2d Jan. On this website I cannot book a spa during the last week of December. Could you please help me to understand what is the best way to book spa in the holiday season?
Many thanks,
Daria
Dear Daria,
Thank you for your inquiry about services between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 7, 2020 in the baths.
Due to the high number of visitors during the festive winter days, the thermal baths’ managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during these days, with the notable exception of the pre-NYE night party tickets, which will be bookable for December 30 as usual (in Szechenyi Baths http://szechenyispabaths.com/szechenyi-baths-new-year-bath-party/).
Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. As long queues are expected there may be some lines waiting in the cold. Please find more details, advice and other thermal bath alternatives on the following link: BathsBudapest.com/Dec
Thank you for your kind cooperation. Enjoy the thermal baths in winter Budapest and explore some more if it is not your first visit in the city.

Hello 🙂
I’m writing you in my capacity as producer at a Danish film production company. I would like to know if it would be possible to rent the entire Thermal pool bath for 3-4 hours some day between the 10th & 22nd og December?
We would like to shoot a scene for a guide to the top pools in the world and the thermal bath would really match what we are looking for perfectly. I will be happy to send you further information if you can provide me with an email address please.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards, Sarah
Dear Sarah,
