Taking photos of the building from the outside is no problem at all. However, taking photos inside the baths is subject to a photo permit provided by the Marketing Department of the Baths.
Please note, that as you take photos of others, they may also take photos of you. According to the general etiquette, it is not considered to be polite to take body pictures of half naked people without their expressed permission, but it is acceptable to take panoramic photos in the baths and pools. Please respect other people’s privacy and refrain from photography if they refused to be on your picture.
Also, please leave your brand new and high tech hand camera or video equipment at home, especially if you would just leave it by the pool while you are in the water and there is no one to take care of them, as your belongings are not insured via the spa entry ticket. Please bear in mind that there are no security cameras observing the pools either. It is you who are fully responsible for looking after both yourself and your valuables. Obviously, the lockers and cabins are for storage. Rarely though, some accidents have happened (e.g. some guests simply forgot to close their locker or cabin door), so please leave your precious items at home rather than taking unnecessary risks.
I am an architecture student. I write the science work about the best SPA Centers. I want to mention Gallert SPA in my work. Could you please send the sections and plans of the building to my e-mail? I would be very grateful for your support.
Dear Marta,
we have contacted you via email.
dear sirs,
i would be interested in photographing inside the baths, as i am very interested in the light there. i would of course only do it in the men section and would ask permission if anyone is in the photograph, but i am mostly interested in the architecture and light of the space.

Hello Daniel,
thank you for contacting us.
We have already sent you an email to your email address regarding your question.
Kind regards
“taking photos inside the baths is subject to a photo permit provided by the Marketing Department of the Baths”. I would love to take photos inside of the building when I come to Budapest in a few weeks. Not from people but from the architecture. Where can I provide for such a photo permit by the Marketing Department of the Baths?
Dear Monique,
Unfortunately we cannot address your request as the official service provider can be reached at gellert@spabudapest.hu. The thermal bath of Gellert Spa has its own customer relations staff, who should address your request in a timely manner.
Thank you for your kind cooperation.
Hello. Me and my girlfriend are visiting on the 13th. We would like to take a few pictures of each other when we are there. Would that be ok?
Hello Junaid,

We hope you will enjoy your visit in Gellert Spa.
Hi,
I will be visiting Budapest by end of the month and I would like to seek permission to take photographs inside the bath house with the beautiful architecture of the property. Of course, I would only take photography of myself if I am in it or with my friends. We are a team of 4 people that will be visiting.
Thanks
Regards,
Steven
