Traditional Thai Massage in Gellert Spa
Benefits of Traditional Thai Massage: the main benefits include relief of physical and emotional tension, improved flexibility, greater awareness of body and mind and balancing the energy system. Thai massage encourages the recipient to become more engaged and energized and helps to achieve a flexible, reared condition.
Method of Traditional Thai Massage: the massage tries to ensure a free energy flow by pressing and stretching the muscles. The masseuse presses the energy points with their thumb, palm, elbow, knee and foot.
For these treatments, we provide special, comfortable clothes to our guests (included in the price). The massage is applied on mats laid on the floor.

Thai Herbal Massage in Gellert Spa
Benefits of Thai Herbal Massage: it helps to heal and relieve the tension of the aching muscles and improves the respiratory function.
Method of Thai Herbal Massage: this massage is a combination of more than 15 medicinal herbs wrapped in a cotton cloth and heated over a steamer or hot pot before use to knead firmly on the aching and pain areas.

Benefits of Thai Oil Massage: the oily massage stimulates circulation, helps to relax body and mind, reduce fatigue and clear out toxins from the skin and muscles. It is proved that the powerful properties of essential oils are best absorbed through the skin or inhalation. It also helps to strengthen the immune system and makes skin more elastic and silky.
Method of Thai Oil Massage: Thai massage with oils is a special massage, a combination of the traditional Thai and western massage techniques. In this case, the massage is not given
in clothes.

Benefits of Thai Foot Massage: this massage balances the activity of the blood and lymphatic circulation, improves endurance, boosts immunity, purifies the body, devitalizes the quest and promotes long life. It reduces pain and stiffness and improves mood and mental clarity. Thai foot massage brings better and deeper sleep, too.
Method of Thai Foot Massage: the masseuse uses her fingers and special sticks made of teak, together with special creams and oils to stimulate organ reflex points on the soles of the feet.

Thai massage is a very complex treatment, it is a combination of influences from Indian, Chinese, Southeast Asian cultural spheres and traditions of medicine.
Your Visit in Gellert Spa
All of the Thai Massage packages in Gellert Spa include the bath entry, which means you can enjoy the Spa before or after your massage hours too during the opening hours. Gellert Spa is open every day from 6 am to 8 pm.

If you do not wish to carry your towel, bathrobe or swimming suit (which are not included in the Thai Massage packages) to the spa, you can use the Rental Facilities of Gellert Spa.

Private Bath
Besides the Thai Massage and Swedish-style massage therapies, Gellert Spa offers a special spa facility, called Private Bath. It is a private area for up to 4 persons with a geothermal tub, for those who wish to spend some hours enjoying the benefits of the thermal waters without having to share the bath with other tourists. the Thai massage rooms are single rooms only, so it is not possible to have a double Thai massage.
We recommend the 45/60 min double massages instead.

Is it possible to have only the (Thai)massage without visiting the bath?
Because of health issues one of us cannot visit the bath but would love to have massage.

Hi, we have booked Thai oil massage for two people. However, it is very confused if we proceed the massage with swimwear or not, as the policy states to keep swimwear but here it shows the massage is not given in clothes.
