Please note that you cannot buy a ticket without a locker or a cabin (except for the special tour tickets, enabling visitors to have a short (15 minute) bath tour in Gellert Spa but not to enjoy the pools and other services). Gellert Spa Entry Tickets can be purchased with lockers or with cabins. But what is the difference between them?
Both lockers and cabins are designed to store your belongings while you are enjoying Gellert Spa with its indoor and outdoor pools. BUT:
- Lockers are smallish boxes with a lock on them (like the ones at train stations). The size of one is 120x30x65 cm (1200 x 300 x 650 mm).
- Cabins, on the other hand, are like changing rooms (but smaller ones) combined with storage facilities. In a cabin, changing privately AND storing your belongings in a safe place can happen at the same time and in the same place.
Cabins can accommodate one person, so if you are a couple, part of a small group or a family it might seem a bit tight, but you can take turns in getting changed.
Buying a Gellert Spa entry with a cabin is more expensive than tickets with simple lockers. Should you purchase the cheaper entries with lockers, you need to change in the women-only / men-only public areas / changing rooms, and then store your bags in the lockers. If you wish to be alone while changing or are a bit shy, cabins are perfect for you.
HI, before booking. i’m reading
Gellert Spa Booking
Gellert Spa (GS) booking Bath Ticket(s), Massages. Tickets include private changing Cabin & fast track entry.
if online tickets include fast track and PRIVATE CHANGING ROOM, i dont need to buy simple ticket with lock, don’t I?
Dear Annamaria,
yes, this is correct, all massage packages include a fast track entry with cabin. You don’t need to buy an additional locker ticket.
Hi! IS it ok to buy one locker and one cabin ticket. My husband and I can take turns changing in the cabin.
Hello Agnes,
yes, of course.
Have a great time in Gellert spa.
Hey
Can we come with our luggage? And let it in a cabin?
1 cabin for 2 people?
We would like to go to the train station just after the bath.
Hello Justine,
The size of the cabin can easily hold a standard suitcase or a backpacker style bigger backpack. Please make sure to close the door properly with your chip equipped wristband, which opens and closes the door of the cabin with a randomly generated unique code.
The cabin comfortably accommodates one person, so if you are a couple it might seem a bit tight, but you can take turns in getting changed.

Hi, please help me understand why towels are so expensive to rent at the baths? It costs me equivalent of HUF350 to rent a towel at my gym in London but HUF2000 at the spa?
Dear Michel,
as the rental price is not cheap we recommend you bring your own towels to avoid the queues at the rental room and save money as well.

Have a great time in Gellert Spa.
Hi,
is it possible to store small suitcases in the cabins ?
Hi Aimilia,
Yes, you can leave your small suitcases in the cabin.
Cabins are like changing rooms (but smaller ones) combined with storage facilities. In a cabin, changing privately AND storing your belongings in a safe place can happen at the same time and in the same place.
Please see more information on the website: http://gellertspa.com/cabins-vs-lockers.
We hope you will have a great time at Gellert Spa!
Hi, despite of the difference between a locker and a cabin, is the changing room/cabin separately for everyone‘s own?
Dear Michael,
Thank you for your comment. Please note that you cannot buy a ticket without a locker or a cabin. Both lockers and cabins are designed to store your belongings, but there are important differences between them. You can of course share one cabin if you wish, in this case we would recommend buying one ticket with a locker, and another one with a cabin.
I hope this helps.
