Check in at Gellert Spa

The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

Book your massage now and secure your preferred massage hours on the following page: Massages in Gellert Spa

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Opening hours:

9 am – 7 pm every day.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

  1. Hello

I have a question regarding the Gellert Bath. We’ve seen several sites stating that there will be restauration work from december 2022 that will last up to at least two years. Is that true? Because we were originally planning to visit the gellert thermal bath on easter 2023…will the inside baths/pools be open by then?

    Thank you for your help
    Romina

    • Hello Romina,
The official closure date (for renovations) is not confirmed yet.
We recommend you check our website a month before the planned visit.
I am sorry that I could not be more helpful at this moment.

  2. Hello, I just want to make sure you are still open for the month of September and not closing for restoration. we are arriving next week and I want to book my tickets online. thank you.

  3. I have booked 4 tickets instead of two for the baths. Complete accident and tried to cancel as this was going through but could not. PLEASE can I be refunded for two tickets. This was a complete accident. I have made the booking for Sunday 18th Sept.

    Hello Team Gellert Spa,

Hope you all are doing well.

My husband and I are trying to book a couples full body thai oil massage (90 minutes) as well as a foot massage (30 minutes) for tomorrow 17 September – but we are battling to do so online.

    Can you please assist us.

    Thank you so very much.
