Opening Hours
9 am – 7 pm every day of the week (except holidays)
Check in at Gellert Spa
The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.
Opening hours:
9 am – 7 pm every day.
Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

Hi,
We are a family of 4 the children are 15 and 12. We would like to visit the baths on Sunday afternoon. Do you have a half day ticket for families?
Thank you
Hello Susanna,
unfortunately, there are no afternoon tickets and there is no different pricing for children at Gellert Spa.
As the thermal waters are not recommended for younger children, we wold like to invite you to read our FAQ’s about children at Gellert Spa.

Enjoy your stay in Budapest!
Hallo,
we just booked a private bath for coming friday. We would like to complement this experience maybe we a massage and an entry into the regular bath. We were not really sure how a good programme would be put together, and what would be recommended.
Thanks for your help and advice in this matter :).
best,
Frank
Dear Frank,
If you wish to visit the public pools and saunas in Gellert Spa or book 20-min massages, you will need to buy a public bath entry ticket too, as the Private Bath program does not include the entry to the Spa, only to the Private Bath Hall and to the 50 and 70- min massage rooms.
We suggest the Couple’s massage deals in the same room (available for the 50- and 70-min massages). Please follow the link below for more details about the massage treatments:

We are looking forward to welcoming you at Gellert Spa!
Dear Gellertspa Team,
I would like to reserve 10 tickets for your spa. We are a group of people from switzerland. Is it possible to reserve some places and only pay when we are at your place?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Veronika

Dear Sir/madam,
I am in Budapest for work and will not be able to get to the baths until 6pm this evening. I would also like to book a massage. Is this feasible for such a short time? How can I book online or should I just turn up? Maybe there are new queues at that time.
thank you very much
Claire
Dear Claire,
thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, the latest massage appointment is 6pm in general at Gellert Baths.
Please note, that the check in with the online tickets is only possible before 6pm.
The massage appointments are usually booked up in advance, so we suggest the online bookings in advance.
If you are in Budapest tomorrow as well (and you can arrive before 6pm) please follow the link below to make a booking:

Enjoy your stay in Budapest!
Dear Gellert SpaTeam
Can you please advise on the following:
1) We will be visiting as a family with kids; can we take one cabin for our changing (in turns) and keeping the personal belongings (it is understood that the cabins have the locker inside); otherwise what option you will advise.
2) Gellert Baths – Private bath. Can this be used by a family with 2 kids (4 & 12 y.o.). what kind of facility is it and what does it include? Can the treatments (eg. massage) be undertaken there? In case no, is there any secured place (play area) in massage rooms for the kids to stay while parents take the massage?
3) Does booking of the private bath give an access to the general, public Gellert baths. If no, do you have type of ticket to have just a short tour to see the facilities after or during the private bath reserved period?
4) What is http://www.gellertbath.hu website?
Dear Sergey,
thank you for planning your visit to Gellert Spa.
Children in the Spa:
For kids under 14 years of age the pools are not recommended. Should the parents decide to visit Gellert Spa despite this, families may arrive with children at their own responsibility. Please find more information on this page: http://gellertspa.com/children-gellert-spa
1.) yes, you can share a cabin as a family if you wish, so you will need to buy 1x Spa Ticket with Cabin, and 3x Spa Ticket with Locker. You can leave your belongings in the Cabin.
2.) Private Bath – yes, you can use the Private Bath as a family, but please note that you will need to buy 2 x 2 Tickets for the Private Bath program (2x €90).
Unfortunately there is no possibility to have a massage in the Private Bath hall. Also there is no play area for children to leave them.
3.) Booking a Private Bath does not give access to the public areas. There is a visitor ticket for a short tour, HUF 2.000/person. The guided tours are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11 am and 3pm.
The tour is about 20 min long.
4.) the official website of Gellert Spa. Our site, gellertspa.com is a privately owned site specialising in online ticket and treatment reservations (exclusively). We do not represent the state owned spa facility.
I want to buy two visitor tickets for a tour on tuesday 30 May 2017 at 11 am.
thank you so much
Arcangelo
Hello Arcangelo,
it is free to visit the main hall of Gellert spa, otherwise, you can join a guided tour and buy visitor tickets.
The visitor ticket includes only a 15-20 min guided walk in the building but unfortunately, you can not enter the pool area with a visitor ticket.
There are guided tours in Gellert Spa every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11am and 3pm. The visitor ticket is HUF 2,000 per person. No advance booking is required.
Have a lovely time at Gellert Spa!
