Check in at Gellert Spa
The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.
Opening hours:
9 am – 7 pm every day.
Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

Hello, I’m travelling with my husband and our baby. I’m wondering if we can bring our baby, knowing that he will not go into the hot baths. Thank you.
Dear Victoria,
yes, you can bring your baby to the Spa, as long as he/she won’t use any of the pools. Entry is free for children under 2.
Hello, we are visiting 28/05/18 and would like to experience the bath. we are family of 2 adults and one child who is 7 years old. can you suggest what ticket you should buy.
Dear Ashsis,
thank you for your email.
For kids under 14 years of age the pools are not recommended in Gellert Spa. Should the parents decide to visit Gellert Spa despite this, families may arrive with children at their own responsibility.
Please note that most of the pools and baths (both outdoor and indoor) at Gellert Spa are more than 33 degrees Celsius, resulting in increased stress for the cardiovascular system of children. Their bodies are not fully developed yet to be able to cope with the warm waters perfectly.
There are no different tickets for children, as Gellert Spa was, and is still aimed at adults.
We suggest families with children visit of the open air pool parks in Budapest, especially Palatinus Pools on Margaret Island and Dagaly Lido close to Arpad Bridge (north of Margaret Island).

I hope I could be of help.
Hello,
I will come at Gellert Spa with car. Can you tell if you have a parking and price for parking. If you don’t have parking can I park my car on the street ? And on street what is maximum time for parking.
Thans a lot,
Best regards,
Marc
Hello, I would like to book a private 3-hour bath for me and my partner in June. However, I am a little bit confused as to how much it would cost in Euros. Is it 94 euros for each of us individually or 94 euros each? Also, I’m from England so I would like to find out if you accept pounds and how much the bath would cost in that currency.
Kind regards
Hello Laura,
the package price is EUR 94 for 2 guests.
As the private bath is normally booked up in advance, we recommend the online bookings at last 3 weeks before the baths visit date.
The online payment can be made via PayPal or by a standard card. Inside the baths, you can pay with Hungarian Forints. The price of the private baths is EUR 94 which is approx. 85 Pounds.

Hope we can welcome you at Gellert Spa!
Hello, do you have any deals or prices for shorter time? if we dont want to spend whole day in there? Are we required to book online or can we just book on a day?
Dear Ann,
I am afraid there are only full day bath tickets, so we recommend you arrive in the morning and stay until the afternoon.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
Enjoy your stay in Budapest!
