The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Hi,
I know Gellert is now mixed male and female bathing, but are ALL the pools now mixed? I remember in 2010 that the men’s pool was more beautiful than the women’s pool. Can women now access the men’s pool?

Hello Ian, yes, all the pools are coed, so everyone can visit all of the pools at the same time.

Please note that the Private Bath package does not include entry to the public facilities including the public pools. If you wish to enter all of the area of Gellert Spa, please book tickets / massage treatments separately.

Good morning,
I am trying to book two tickets for this coming Saturday but when I proceed to the payment page it asks me to create a PayPal account, which I do not have and would rather not sign up for only for this transaction. Is there a way around this issue?

Dear Monserrat,
You do not need to have a PayPal account for payment. The booking form automatically redirects you to the PayPal page, where you can pay by card without owning or opening a PayPal account, simply using the interface of PayPal. On the page, you can see a grey button saying “Check Out as a Guest”. If you click on it, you can fill out your card payment details, and after clicking “Pay Now”, you are all set.

yes, you can buy alcoholic beverages in the buffet/ cafeteria or you can bring beers in cans. Please note, that glass objects are not allowed inside the baths.
