Check in at Gellert Spa
The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

the Gellert Baths is open from 6 am, and you can get a 20% discount if you buy tickets at the cashiers (the discount is only available when tickets bought on the spot). So yes, you can buy discounted tickets from 6 am onwards.

As a card holder, I have 20% discount on the entrance to GellertSpa .

– which attractions of baths I can use if I have a Budapest Card?

thank you for your question. The bath ticket discount includes the 20% cheaper price of the thermal bath ticket. Rental services, spa services, like Gellert Spa massages, cafe and restaurant prices are not part of the discount plan, so you will need to expect full prices in Gellert Spa for anything beyond the bath tickets. That said, your standard bath ticket (even with a 20% discount) includes many great things:
– free use of the 10 pools: 2 pools outside and 8 pools inside Gellert Baths
– free use of approx 6 saunas and steam rooms
Please note that you can get a massage discount in Gellert Spa if you book a massage for two, and share the same massage room (check the massage prices for couple’s massages – there is no need to be a couple for the couple’s massage, it simply means that you share the room, and get the massage at the same time!)
Photos can be taken inside the Baths but only for your own private use, and only if there are no other people in the pictures.

yes, the outdoor thermal pools are open all year round. We recommend you bring or rent a bathrobe if you are visiting on a colder day.
