The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

    I’m coming to Budapest again for the New Year and like last year I would like to experience a spa day at Gellert. My preference is for a private 3 hour session on Monday 30/12 but it appears from the website that there is NO availability on that day. Also, as an option I have tried to purchase a general day ticket for 30/12 but once again I have been unsuccessful. Can it really be the case that there is no availability at all on this date?

    Grateful if you could let me know ASAP as I really want to book tickets if there is availability.

  2. Hi today I was at Gellert thermal bath and I let there my swimming suit did you find it? It is a White check Red One Piece Swimsuit. Please let me know if you find it.

      we recommend you visit the baths which is probably the fastest and most efficient way.

    I am hoping to visit the baths and get a massage in the first week of January, but it appears that the whole week is blocked out – the FAQ say the baths are not closed during this time, so I was wondering if this booking will be possible?
    Any advice regarding this would be appreciated

      online booking for the festive period (until Jan 5) is not available on our website. You can buy entries upon arrival.
