The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

  1. I would like to book a day at the spa with 60 minute massage for myself and partner please can you confirm what I need to book as unsure. Can we be in the same room.

      Please note, only 45/60 minutes massages are available as double/couple massages when booking, please choose a “Double” package (massages are in the same room, at the same time). Of course, all the massages can be booked as single as well.

  2. Hello, can I please ask whether you are allowed to bring your own hairdryer as in one section it says you cannot and then another recommends you bring one with you? if you can bring one where can you plug it in?
    Also I wish to pre-book a head massage and a foot massage but cannot find how to do that, I wish to prebook entry to the baths with a cabin. Thank you for your assistance.

      There are hairdryers in Gellert Spa by the showers (and not in the cabins), that is you can use the public hair drying equipment. Please note that unfortunately it is not allowed to use your own electrical equipment in the Baths. Thank you for your understanding.

  4. Hi ,

    We are a group of 6 travelling to Budapest in the last week of December. I am unable to book spa or a massage at any of the baths on the 27th or 28th of December 2019. Could you please tell me if they are open on these dates . If so, how do I book the tickets in advance ?

      Unfortunately, there will be no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) sold during the upcoming Winter Holiday Season (between Dec 24, 2019 – Jan 7, 2020) based on a managerial decision. Please note that the baths will be open, however, we kindly suggest that you go there early because tickets will be sold on the spot on the first-come-first-served basis.

  5. Is it still possible to book massages for this Sunday, November 10th? Can we come by today and reserve tickets as online booking is not possible? Thank you for a quick reply.
