Help Desk in Gellert Spa – Priority Check in

Gellert Spa Help Desk

Enjoy a thermal relaxation in Gellert Spa with improved services such as expedited QR code check in and advance bookings of spa treatments with a special check-in at the QR code readers, dedicated to all of our online customers, exclusively.

Opening Hours

9 am – 7 pm every day of the week (except holidays)

Check in at Gellert Spa

The QR code reader self-check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets. It means a expedited entry service, so if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code reader with your printed email confirmation (or you might use it with a smartphone).

After check-in your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).

All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

Book your massage now and secure your preferred massage hours on the following page: Massages in Gellert Spa

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?

The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.

Opening hours:

9 am – 7 pm every day.

Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

  1. Hi all,
I would like to visit with a group of 16 people on Saturday November 16.
Could you please contact me about some information on group rates etc.?

    Thanks,

    Lucas

  2. The visitors only tour on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11 am and 3 pm. Which parts of the bath can you view?

    • Dear Marcel,
      thank you for your interest.
Visitors can walk through the whole historical building, and includes a short, approx. 10-15 minutes tour (without guiding).
      Have a great day.

    Thank you for answer:)

  4. Hello there,

My partner and I will be visiting Budapest for a very special holiday around the NYE period. We will be celebrating our engagement, and we had hoped to visit your spa to celebrate this special time. I just tried to book entry, and its completely booked up!
I was heartbroken to see this, as it was our whole reason for coming to Budapest! Please could you inform me, if there are any cancellations at all between the 30th of December, and the 2nd of January? We would absolutely love to spend some time soaking in the healing pools.

    Kind regards,

    Stefanie Jackson

    • Dear Stefanie,
Please do not worry, the bath is open and not fully sold out yet.

Thank you for your inquiry about services between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 07, 2020 in the baths. While we normally would recommend online bookings to secure your appointments or entries, during the Winter Festive Season (Christmas and New Year – Dec 24 – Jan 7) the city attracts half a million extra tourists, which makes online fast track tickets to Szechenyi Baths and Gellert Spa simply non-fast track, and ticket holders are often held back in the – otherwise peaceful and expectant – crowds gathering around the entrances. Hence the managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during the festive days. Let us recommend you a NY guide for further ideas: http://newyearbudapest.com/

Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we expect long queues due to the increased demand, even long lines in the cold. Please find more details, advice and other thermal bath alternatives on the following link: BathsBudapest.com/Dec
Thank you for your kind cooperation. Enjoy the thermal baths in Budapest and explore some more if it is not your first visit in the city.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

  5. Dear Sir/Mdm:

I want to visit your spa on Nov 26 afternoon and am considering booking the bath kit. For the taxi pickup, can I get picked up at New York Café instead of my hotel since I will be having lunch there beforehand? If not, can the taxi fare be used to take me back to the hotel after the spa session instead?

    Thanks,
    Cissy

    • Dear Cissy,
you can request any Budapest locations for the pick up.
Please write a note with your phone nr, so the driver can call you if needed.
Have a fab time in Budapest!

      • Thank you! Very much appreciated. I will do so when booking.
Looking forwarding to the spa experience.
