Check in at Gellert Spa
The QR code check-in point awaits guests who have pre-booked bath tickets: at the Online Check In Desk you will redeem your waterproof wrist band in exchange of the QR code tickets. It means a expedited entry service as the QR codes are instantly read and there is no need to join the queues at the Cashier, just head on to the Online Check In Reception Desk. In a similar vein, if you book your ticket or massage online, you don’t have to join the lines at the cashier, just approach the QR code / Fast Track Online Check In team with your digital or printed QR Code (it may help to bring along your confirmation email too to avoid any confusion if you are a first time visitor).
After check-in, your thermal bath e-ticket will be exchanged with a waterproof wristband, which will be your actual chip enabled key to your cabin as well (the wrist watch style silicon band includes a little chip).
All of the massage packages in Gellert Baths include the bath entry with fast track, skip the line access to all the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and of course your very own private area, the bath cabin used for storage and getting changed. – massages are currently not available on our website

How to find the check in point for expedited QR code entries and online reservations?
The check in point (green dot on the map) can be approached from the Main Entrance (shown with a red dot in the map). As Gellert Bath has its own entrance, independent from the entrance of Hotel Gellert, the best way to find us easily is to stand with your back to the river Danube, and enter the Gellert building on the right hand side, by the Gellert Hill.
Opening hours:
9 am – 7 pm every day.
Your ticket is valid from 9 am to 7 pm for the requested date (last entry 5.50pm)

Hello
We have a group of 11 coming on Monday 11th March but I’m not sure if we will want lockers/cabins/massages/etc until we arrive. Could we please book a placeholder and pay on arrival depending on what everyone chooses?
Thank you
Dear Samantha,
I’m afraid we cannot hold any temporary reservation without advance payment, as massage hours are limited and often booked up 1-2 days in advance. I would recommend you to make your booking online as early as you can.
Hi! Is it necessary to purchase entry+Locker in advance? Or can we show up when we want? 🙂
Dear Julie,
it is recommended to book in advance, if you wish to skip the lines at the cashiers. Otherwise yes, you can buy the entry on the spot too.
Ok, thanks! We have a big day ahead of us before ending up at the baths, so we were thinking about going around 5 pm. Is this a bad time? haha =)
Dear Julie,
if you are arriving before 6pm, online purchase is highly suggested to skip the lines at the cashiers.

Hello
Are the bathrooms separated by gender?
or is it possible to do the same activities in company?
Thank you
Hello Michael,
the pools are coed, so men and women can bathe at the same time.
The showers, changing rooms are separated men or women only. Hope we can welcome you at Gellert Spa!
Hello – I am a family of four – 3 adult women and 1 adult men. If we all get a ticket + cabin, can we all share the cabin? Or is men a different cabin?
Also – I have Budapest Card – can I purchase on line? or do I need to purchase in person? Thank you.
Dear Linda,
yes, you can share a cabin, but please note that the cabin can accommodate only 1 person at a time, so you will need to take turns.
If you wish to use the Budapest Card discount, you will need to buy the ticket on the spot, as the discount does not apply to online tickets. Thank you for your understanding.
hello!
i want to buy the tickets with cabin but have few questions plz:
1. if i want to arrive at 6:30-7:00 am, i need to collect the ticket a night before? because ur help desk only works from 9:00?
2. if i collect it before, who will exchange it for me to a waterproof wristband?
3. we plan to go from there to the airport. can we leave our luggage in the cabin? is it safe with a key?
thxx
Dear Guest,
if you wish to arrive before 9am, you will need to buy your ticket at the cashier. Unfortunately it is not possible to pickup the ticket earlier.
Yes, you can leave your luggage in the cabin, while you are in the Baths. The cabins are safely locked, and can be opened only with your wristband.
but you say in your website:
“9 am – 6 pm every day. Your ticket is valid from 6 am to 8 pm for the requested date. You can pick up your ticket in advance, 1 day earlier if needed, if you wish to visit the bath in the early hours before 9 am, to make good use of your full day ticket to the bath”
so why cant i pick it earlier?
if not, is the cashier open at 6-7am? how much is a tickets with a cabin in the cashier?
Dear Tzvika,
thank you for bringing this outdated information to our attention. This options is not valid any more, and now we have removed this information from the website too. Thank you for your understanding.
The cashier opens at 6am. A cabin ticket on the spot is HUF 6,300 on weekdays and HUF 6,500 on weekends.
